During her Loose Women appearance on Friday’s episode, Binky Felstead opted for a pair of oversized gold earrings that hail from one of Kate Middleton’s favourite jewellery brands

On Friday28 March’s episode of Loose Women, Binky Felstead and her mum joined the panel to discuss living with MS, which her mum, Jane Felstead, was diagnosed with in 2017. For her appearance on the daytime show, former Made in Chelsea star Binky opted for a chic monochrome look that included some tailored black shorts, a white blouse and statement gold jewellery.

Binky’s oversized gold earrings, it turns out, were the Joan Earrings from Soru Jewellery – a brand that’s been spotted on countless celebs in the past. Kate Middleton in particular is a huge fan, and has worn the Baroque Pearl Double Sided Earrings on multiple occasions, plus many other pieces from the brand.

Binky’s Joan Earrings were the perfect statement piece for her minimalist look, and are still available to buy for £230. They feature a large oval-shaped mother of pearl gemstone in the middle, with an angular surround made from 18k gold plated silver.

The gold has a matte finish, which gives them a more elevated, elegant look, and is free from nickel, lead and cadmium. Each pair is handmade in Italy in small batches before being hand packed in the UK, and all-natural pearls are used, making each pair completely unique.

A statement earring needed a statement name, with Soru saying: “Joan, be it Joan Collins or Joan of Arc, we felt these show-stopping earrings warranted a strong name.” Although the earrings come with a standard post fastening, you can also pick them up in a clip-on version if you don’t have your ears pierced.

If you really want the pearl to do the talking, we spotted a similar pair at Olivia & Pearl. The Aphrodite Statement Earrings are £220 and feature an oversized pearl stud, with a large mother of pearl droplet hanging from it encased in 18ct yellow gold vermeil.

For something more understated, we love these Gold Large Plain Pearl Drop Hoop Earrings from Lily & Roo. Usually priced at £125, they’re currently on sale down to £100 and have a rectangular hoop with a delicate round pearl dangling from the bottom.

Missoma also does a pair of Square Pearl Statement Earrings for £159, which have a large gold square stud that’s set with a half pearl. Hanging from each stud is a big square pearl with a textured finish.
