Katie Price has shared the astonishing amount that she spends at the supermarket on her weekly shop – days after being discharged for bankruptcy. The media personality vowed to get back on the Sunday Times Rich List as she celebrated her good news earlier this week.

The 46-year-old model and reality star is a proud mother-of-five – with son Harvey, 22, from a past romance with footballer Dwight York, son Junior, 19, and daughter Princess, 17, with her first marriage to Peter Andre, and son Jett, 11, and daughter Bunny, 10, from her third marriage to Kieran Hayler. The star has plenty of mouths to feed – including Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 33, who is her current boyfriend.

Even still, fans may question how the star is able to rack up as much as £700 per week at the supermarket till after trotting around the aisles with her trolly. She has placed some blame on the children she shares with ex-husband Peter, claiming they have their own trollies that they fill up with their respective partners.

Second son, Junior, has been dating Jasmine Orr, a 24-year-old influencer who previously appeared on Celebs Go Dating, since May last year. While Princess has been dating her boyfriend, named Ed, since early 2023.

Opening up about her spending habits on her podcast, titled The Katie Price Show, the proud mum said: “I do weekly shops, I spend about £500-£700 a week.

“Sometimes we all go [to the shops]. I hate it because I say to them, we all get a trolley each, and Princess and Ed fill theirs up whereas Junior and Jasmine are careful with what they put in. They look at the prices and stuff and I just put everything in.”

She added: “But then it still just goes so I find in the week I still have to top things up.” Katie has battled serious financial struggles in recent years – with a £750,000 unpaid tax bill landing her in hot water last year. And last month, she was finally cleared of bankruptcy after years of headlines that chronicled her financial difficulties.

A second bankruptcy claim was discharged this week – leaving the glamour model beaming. Opening up to The Sun earlier this week, the TV star said: “I can finally move on and put these bankruptcies behind me and now only focus on the positive.”

Meanwhile, Katie’s boyfriend JJ has found himself being slightly dissed by his ex-girlfriend, Ella Morgan Clark – who he met through Married At First Sight in 2023.

Viewers watched the pair fall for each other, even though they had been partnered with other people – and JJ then subsequently ditched Ella and started his romance with Katie.

Speaking to Olivia Attwood on the So Wrong It’s Right podcast, Ella said: “I have a group chat with some of the MAFS girls and one of them said, ‘oh, I’ve heard through the grapevine that JJ and Katie are, something is going on with them’.

So I knew before it even got leaked to the press. I didn’t care. I love Katie, she’ll always be iconic, we still message now. I love her, I don’t have any bad blood with JJ, he’s just a bit of an ex now.”
