Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright looked every inch the perfect family as they enjoyed a walk in London with baby daughter Palma and Michelle’s mother

New parents Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan looked happier than ever as they enjoyed a walk with their newborn daughter. The happy couple, both 37, welcomed daughter Palma Elizabeth Wright into the world earlier this month after 10 years of marriage.

The former TOWIE star and actress Michelle co-ordinated outfits as they stepped out with baby Palma in a brown pram. Joined by the Michelle’s mum on the walk, the doting parents even stopped to take a snap with their first-born at one point.

Dressed in black trousers, a white top and beige cardigan, Michelle looked radiant just weeks on from giving birth. Reality TV star Mark matched his wife look in a similar beige cover up, black trousers and a black T-Shirt.

Over the weekend, a knackered Mark confessed to being “a little bit tired” on his morning radio gig after becoming a first-time father on March 6. The 37-year-old hosts the Saturday Breakfast show on Heart FM with pal Olly Murs.

Taking to Instagram stories before going on air on Saturday, a bleary-eyed Mark rallied his listeners with a cheeky “get us on the radio, 9am ’til…” before sheepishly checking with his crew when he’s off-duty. He then quipped about his fatigue, admitting to his fans, “I’m a little bit tired today”, and sharing that he’d knocked back a couple of bevvies the night before—but refrained from spilling who was clinking glasses with him.

Though he kept mum on his drinking buddies, Mark hinted it could have been a bit of festivity for baby Palma’s arrival—a little bash that had him declaring earlier, it made him “realise what life is all about.”

Getting deep in conversation with Olly during the show, the new dad shared an intimate peek at fatherhood, emotionally recalling: “That moment when I held her in my arms, it gets me emotional now thinking about it. I suppose everything else goes out the window and its made me realise what life is all about and my little baby Palma I love you so much and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.” What do you think of Michelle and Mark’s baby name? Reflecting on the unique joy of becoming a parent, Mark mused, “It’s a very special feeling. I cant really put it into words. We’ve waited a little bit of time, we’ve chased our dreams and our careers and now we’re here. We’ve got a baby.”

Upon his return to the Heart FM studio mere days after becoming a father, Mark couldn’t hide how much he was “badly” missing his little girl. During his time off-air, he plans to video call his wife, actress Michelle, to catch up on family time.

He lavished praise on the Ten Pound Poms actress calling her a real-life superhero and sharing that he’s gained an enormous amount of respect for mothers everywhere.

“It’s the biggest achievement of my life its all I think about but obviously hats go off to my wife she is an absolute super human, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world,” he gushed, before going on to reflect on the maternal sacrifices worldwide, “It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and what women had to go through.”

The relieved couple, gearing up to mark a decade of marriage on May 24, have been cozying up in their £3.5m Essex abode, enveloped in a “perfect love bubble” following the top-secret birth of their daughter Palma a week prior.

A confidant revealed their low-key approach: “They wanted to keep the news very private and bask in the glory of a new-born without any distractions without the world knowing. They are in a perfect love bubble with no external noises, and it’s been total and utter bliss.”

Michelle and Mark, who live together in Essex and began dating in 2012, revealed to their Instagram followers on March 12 their child’s birth name and when their daughter was born. They wrote on Instagram: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl (love heart emoji). Palma Elizabeth Wright 06.03.25.”

The couple also shared a black and white photo of their daughter being held. Underneath the post, Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden, The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack, Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, YouTuber Joe Wicks and Loose Women star Denise Welch congratulated the pair.

Last month, the couple reportedly hid from burglars in a locked bedroom during a break-in at their mansion. Essex Police said it was investigating a report of four suspects, who had forced entry and searched the address before fleeing.

Michelle began her acting career in TV playing Tina McIntyre in ITV soap opera Coronation Street, joining the show in 2008, before going on to star in hit army drama Our Girl as corporal Georgie Lane and in the comedy-drama Brassic as Erin Croft.

Wright was a semi-professional footballer who spent time at the youth academies of West Ham, Arsenal and Tottenham before he starred in TOWIE. He gained further recognition after finishing as a runner-up on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2011, and as a finalist on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.
