Liam and Noel Gallagher have put their differences aside and reunited Oasis for a mega tour this year, now the Mirror has revealed secrets behind their preparations from when they’ll meet to new music

The eagerly awaited Oasis reunion will happen next month – with band rehearsals beginning in May. New photos today showed Noel Gallagher back in the studio rehearsing songs and working on new material in London.
But we can reveal the songwriter will meet up with the rest of Oasis next month, with Liam the last piece in the puzzle to join up ahead of a Summer of giant gigs
A source close to Noel said there was plenty of time for rehearsals yet. They added: “Noel is often in and out of the studio working on things, he is a singer songwriter so it’s only natural.
“But Liam is a singer and he has a long list of dates ahead of him with Oasis this year so he will not be overdoing rehearsals. After a big solo Definitely Maybe tour your last year, the main thing his voice needs at the moment is rest. He has been relaxing recently and spending time with his mum Peggy.

“The plan is for the band to start meeting up in May. They will jam around and work out a set list and Liam will be the last one to join in with the vocals.
“There is plenty of time and Liam is a born rock’n’roll star who has lived and breathed these songs and performed a lot of them in his own solo shows so he doesn’t need much practice. But the rest of the band do need to rehearse more, especially as there is a new drummer in the mix.”
Liam and Noel Gallagher are bringing in newcomer Joey Waronker on drums alongside more established former Oasis band members on guitars.
The full line up is expected to be Liam Gallagher, Noel Gallagher, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker. Noel and Liam will walk on stage for the first time together since the band split in 2009 on July 4 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

The shows will also feature special guests Richard Ashcroft and Cast, who are friends up the band. Earlier this week Noel broke his silence in a new book to talk about the Oasis Live 25 tour.
On the demand for tickets, Noel told photographer Kevin Cummins: “I thought it’d be a big deal, but I was a bit taken aback by just how much of a big deal it was.”
He was also quizzed to name his favourite Oasis song but replied: “Can I have more than one? Supersonic, Some Might Say, Live Forever and Rock’n’Roll Star.”
This week, Noel was photographed in London after a 10 hour recording and rehearsal session thought to be him working on new demos as well as rehearsing for the Summer.
Wearing a hoodie and sunglasses, Noel looked ready for some sleep as he left. One onlooker said: “He was in the studio for hours on end recording and practicing songs. With any luck the results could mean some new material before the end of the year.”
Whilst fans will also hope this could mean a new Oasis song or even an album, Noel has released four solo studio albums himself in recent years.

But for now it seems his main priority will be Oasis and their comeback, after ticket sales led to chaos last year. Fans were whipped into a frenzy at the first chance to see the brothers on stage together since 2009 when a backstage brawl in Paris sparked a mass fallout between Liam and Noel.
Following the tour announcement, Liam dismissed rumours that he and Noel were still not speaking. The frontman did however, reveal that he and Noel won’t be giving any joint interviews ahead of the Oasis tour despite the thawing of their years-long feud.
Liam, 52, revealed on X that the brothers “don’t want to do interviews coz we’re scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship”.
