Lewis Hamilton and Modern Family star Sofia Vergara have reportedly gone their separate ways after a brief period of dating speculation. The pair were first linked in January when they were spotted enjoying lunch together in New York, sparking rumors of a possible romance.

However, according to sources, their connection has already faded, with Hamilton seemingly losing interest. Sources suggest that Vergara, 52, was eager to see where things could go, believing Hamilton, 40, was “the perfect boyfriend and a great catch.”

Sofia was reportedly excited about the possibility of something serious, but insiders claim the Formula One star’s enthusiasm quickly cooled, leaving her feeling “abandoned.”

While they still exchange the occasional message, the communication appears to be one-sided. “She’s the one who keeps reaching out, hoping for more – but he’s not really responding in the same way,” an insider revealed.

After their meal, they were spotted smiling and chatting on the sidewalk before Vergara left in an SUV, adding to speculation that something romantic was brewing between them.

Despite the initial buzz, Hamilton has since shifted his focus back to his career. The seven-time world champion has had a rocky start to the Formula One season, struggling to find his footing in his first year with Ferrari.

He finished 10th in the opening race in Australia before bouncing back to win the sprint race in China. However, his momentum was short-lived as he was later disqualified from the main Grand Prix due to excessive wear on his car’s plank, leaving him in ninth place in the driver standings and trailing leader Lando Norris by 35 points.

Hamilton, who previously had an on-off relationship with Nicole Scherzinger until their final split in 2016, has been linked to several high-profile women over the years, including model Gigi Hadid, music icon Rihanna, and her fellow singer Shakira. Despite his active dating history, it appears that, for now, he remains single and focused on making a strong comeback on the track.

Meanwhile, Vergara – who finalized her divorce from Joe Manganiello last year – has also been adjusting to single life. While sources say she had hoped for something more with Hamilton, it seems the two have now drifted apart, with little indication that their brief connection will develop into anything further.
