Zara McDermott and Louis Tomlinson seemed to confirm their relationship with glimpses from a night out together

One Direction alum Louis Tomlinson and his new flame Zara McDermott have soft launched their budding relationship. The famous duo has stayed tight-lipped about their romance until now, but teasingly confirmed the fact that they were together.

Prior to Louis, Zara had been with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson for years, but she and Sam split up over Christmas. Just weeks later, rumours emerged that she had moved on with the famous musician.

Zara is soaking up the sun in Los Angeles this week, and today – or Tuesday night LA time – she and Louis confirmed that they were on the other side of the pond together.

The couple both took to their Instagram Stories to show what they’d been up to on the midweek evening, revealing that they were both at The Wiltern in California, watching Stereophonics for a glam date night. Their separate videos were posted at around the same time and made it clear that they were together, showing exactly the same view of the stage.

Zara and Louis’ stateside getaway comes just a couple of weeks after they were spotted on a date for the first time, keeping a low profile in the town of Aldeburgh, Suffolk.

The Love Island alum and the singer opted for a cosy dining experience in the restaurant of The Suffolk – a fancy hotel named after the county, where rooms set you back up to £315 a night.

According to other diners who caught the pair romancing each other, Zara and Louis sipped cocktails and dug into luxury fish and chips. A source shared of their staycation: “They looked every bit the happy couple.

“Louis is a proper gentleman so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara. He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special. They share the same values and are both incredibly close with their families.”

With family so important to both Zara and Louis, it’s a big deal that she’s said to have already met his loved ones – who were immediately taken by her.

Louis has a huge family, being the dad of a nine-year-old son, Freddie, from his previous relationship with Briana Jungwirth, alongside an older brother to his eight younger siblings.

While it may have been daunting meeting the Tomlinson pack, an insider shared that Zara made a good impression. “Zara has already met all the family and they can tell that she has made Louis giddy,” they divulged.

“It’s the first time in a long time that they have seen him happy.” The source added: “They think Zara is super wholesome and health-conscious so they are happy he is with someone who shuns the party life.”
