Love Island star Zara McDermott’s relationship with One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson has seemingly gone to the next level. The couple have now been dating for a few weeks and it looks like things have gone from strength to strength for the pair.

Zara, 28, was spotted on a date with Louis, 33, at tThe Suffolk in the town of Aldeburgh recently. The news came following her split from Sam Thompson after five years, whom she’s said to have separated from a few months ago.

Zara’s romance with Louis is “very early days,” though it’s been reported that she has already been introduced to his family. They are said to be “happy” with the potential romance between him and Zara.

Louis – who’s a parent to a nine-year-old son, Freddie, from a previous relationship – grew up as the eldest of eight siblings. His family includes makeup artist Lottie Tomlinson, 26, and he’s said to have a “special bond” with his sister.

A source told the Sun: “Zara has already met all the family and they can tell that she has made Louis giddy. It’s the first time in a long time that they have seen him happy.” The source added: “They think Zara is super wholesome and health-conscious so they are happy he is with someone who shuns the party life.”

There has been speculation in recent days following the news that Zara was single again after her romance with Sam ended. A source told the Mirror: “It’s very early days but it’s clear she is having fun like any single, twenty-something.” A source added: “It’s been a low-key but fun two weeks.”

It was further reported that she had been dating Louis for a “couple” of weeks and that he was “clearly making her smile”.Just days after photos from her date with singer-songwriter Louis surfaced last week, Zara was spotted enjoying a casual walk in Suffolk yesterday. Zara smiled whilst out on the walk in a black jacket, with a matching hoodie and a grey t-shirt underneath. Her outfit also include a pair of dark leggings and she was seen wearing white trainers in the photos.

It was reported last week that Zara and Louis had enjoyed a getaway together in Suffolk. He’s said to have planned the trip and been “thoughtful”. A source previously told The Sun that Louis “whisked” Zara away to Suffolk for a break and that he “absolutely charmed her”. They added that it’s “clear” that he think she is “drop-dead gorgeous” too.

The source went on to say: “Louis is a proper gentleman so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara. He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special. They share the same values and are both incredibly close with their families.”

They added that Louis is “very protective” over his sisters and that Zara is “the same” with her younger brother Brad McDermott. The source concluded that “for now” Zara and Louis are “taking things slowly,” with them enjoying each other’s company to “see where it takes them.”
